Had a fantastic meal at Bombay Story on Monday night with my partner. The food was absolutely delicious – full of flavour and beautifully presented. The cocktails were equally amazing! The staff made the evening extra special with a lovely birthday surprise for my partner, including a dessert and a glass of Prosecco. Warm, friendly atmosphere and great service – we’ll definitely be back!

I recently visited Bombay Story Restaurant in Wokingham and had a pleasant dining experience overall. The food, service, and ambiance were definitely highlights. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and there’s ample parking available just a short distance away, which adds a layer of convenience and peace of mind. We tried the Avocado Chaat as a starter, and I cannot recommend this dish enough! It’s an absolute flavor explosion that activates all your taste buds – a definite 10/10! On the other hand, the Chicken NH19 was good, with well-cooked chicken, but there was a slight sense of incompleteness to the dish that left me wanting more balance in flavor. At the price it’s offered, I’d rate it 8/10. Speaking of pricing, Bombay Story Restaurant is on the more expensive side compared to other dine-ins. The heavy service charge added to the bill made me reconsider the overall value for money. I also feel the menu could use more variety, which would make the dining experience even better. However, the staff's hospitality stood out – they were incredibly polite and attentive, which made the visit worthwhile. I’d definitely consider returning, especially to enjoy their impeccable service and try something different on the menu. In summary, a great place to visit if you’re in the mood for a unique dining experience. Just be prepared for slightly higher prices.

Visited Bombay Story Wokingham twice, both times served by very friendly waiter Josh who advised us very well on avoiding gluten to suit our allergy. The gluten free roti is superb - a must try, and all dishes and drinks have all been great both times, especially the mango lassi. Well worth visiting and worth booking as it was busy both times.

We recently visited Bombay Story for my husband's birthday. They made us feel special and the evening dining experience was excellent. Food was top class, we started with the moringa splashdown - wasn't sure what to expect but it didn't disappoint. Subtle flavour with a kick - would recommend it. This was followed by the avocado chat which was amazing. We went for their traditional chicken dish, NH19 with naan, Dal Bombay, Nilgiri Tikka. Whilst we felt the NH19 lacked flavour, it wasn't bad. The naans were soft and delicious. The cocktails were to die for - beautifully presented and well balanced. And the desserts were very yummy! Lovely atmosphere and ambience. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back - perhaps for the bottomless brunch one day.

We went for the vegan event and left happy and full!! The vegan dessert was the best vegan dessert I've ever had, and the rest of the meal didn't disappoint either - each course was beautifully presented and so flavourful.

Great find in Wokingham! Staff were great, friendly with perfect recommendations. The curry has just the amount of heat I like. Naan was tasty and I also tried the Pistachio Tiramisu, it was a great take, not too sweet. Had the Bombay apple sour, nicely balanced. Great place for Indian with a tasty cocktail.
